Cartoonist Len Peralta (http://www.lenperalta.com/) believes in many things. Ghosts. Elves. Bigfoot. Krampus!
He’s drawn princes throwing up. He’s illustrated a few books (including Silly Rhymes For Belligerent Children with Trace Beaulieu of Mystery Science Theater 3000, The Importance of Being Ernest with Ernie Cline (Ready Player One/Fanboys), the graphic novels Super Powered Revenge Christmas with Bill Corbett (Rifftrax) and TenState with Tom Merritt (Tech News Today). He’s drawn art for a card game about medical malpractice. Even the New Yorker has shown off his stuff. And he can draw you — with a friend or two (one of whom might be a Krampus) — at Krampuslauf Philadelphia in 2013.
Len will be drawing at Liberty Lands Park from 4:30 (right when people start arriving) to 6:30 PM. (His plan is to draw straight through the actual procession, since we usually have folks — fire dancers, fire tenders, my sister — who don’t do the actual Lauf part.) The fee to sign up to have Len do a drawing for you at Krampuslauf Philadelphia is $30 and SPACES ARE LIMITED.
To be sure Len can draw a black-and-white caricature you (and up to two friends, one of who may or may not be a Krampus), you will need to sign up.
